Enquête Klimaateducatie in het hoger onderwijs

Het Centrum voor Duurzame Ontwikkeling van de Universiteit Gent voert momenteel een onderzoek uit over klimaateducatie in het hoger onderwijs. Dit gebeurt in opdracht van het departement Onderwijs en Vorming.
Geeft u les over klimaatverandering of over onderwerpen gerelateerd aan het klimaatvraagstuk aan een universiteit of hogeschool? Misschien doceert u een vak dat volledig in het teken staat van de klimaatproblematiek? Of u brengt een specifiek onderwerp gerelateerd aan het klimaatvraagstuk aan bod in uw lessen (bv. energie-efficiëntie, milieubeleid, klimaatvluchtelingen, duurzame productie en consumptie, klimaatvriendelijke mobiliteit, enz.)? In beide gevallen nodigen we u van harte uit om deze vragenlijst in te vullen. Dit duurt ongeveer 25 minuten. We verzamelen en verwerken uw antwoorden vertrouwelijk. Uw deelname is cruciaal voor onze studie. We willen namelijk een breed zicht krijgen op wat onderwijspraktijken m.b.t. klimaatverandering in het Vlaamse hoger onderwijs kenmerkt en om dit mogelijk te maken is het essentieel dat zoveel mogelijk lesgevers de vragenlijst invullen. Kent u collega’s die lesgeven over klimaatverandering of over onderwerpen gerelateerd aan het klimaatvraagstuk? Stuur deze uitnodiging gerust naar hen door, u helpt er ons onderzoek mee vooruit.
Bent u geïnteresseerd om meer te weten te komen over de resultaten van het onderzoek? We bezorgen deelnemers die dit wensen graag gratis het onderzoeksrapport en de inspiratiegids van zodra deze gepubliceerd worden en/of een uitnodiging voor een vormingsmoment en studiedag die u een unieke gelegenheid biedt voor het opdoen van nieuwe inzichten en inspiratie voor uw eigen lespraktijk.

Ghent University’s Centre for Sustainable Development currently conducts a Research and Development Project about teaching and learning about climate change in higher education. This project has been commissioned by the department of Education and Training.
Do you teach about climate change and/or topics related to it in a university and/or university college? Perhaps a course that is explicitly and substantially focussing on the issue of climate change? Or maybe you address one or more topics related to climate change (e.g. energy efficiency, environmental policy, climate refugees, sustainable production and consumption, climate-friendly transportation, etc.) in some of your lessons? In both cases, we warmly invite you to participate in the survey. This will take about 25 minutes. We will collect and process your survey responses confidentially. Please find more information about the purposes and design of the study in the information letter.
Your participation is crucial for our study. We want to gain insight in what characterises education on climate change in Flemish universities and university colleges and therefore it is vital that as many teachers as possible respond to the questionnaire. Do you know colleagues who are teaching about climate change and/or topics related to it in a university and/or university college? Please feel free to forward this invitation to them.
